Create and Add a Knock Link
You can use Knock links across any medium—not just on your website. This allows you to replace forms and landing pages by letting buyers start a conversation immediately through their preferred messaging app.
No forms. No login. No friction.
Each Knock link is fully trackable. You’ll see attribution data for every source, including performance by clicks, engagement, qualification rate, and pipeline impact.
Where You Can Use a Knock Link
You can add a Knock link to any medium where you engage with potential buyers. Common examples include:
- Website pages
- LinkedIn ads and posts
- YouTube descriptions
- TikTok, Instagram, or Facebook content
- Marketing emails and outbound sequences
- PDFs, one-pagers, and digital brochures
- Product or documentation pages
- G2 and marketplace listings
- Event booths (QR code or mobile wallet card)
This lets you turn any touchpoint into a direct conversation with your team.
Create a Knock Link from the Dashboard
1. Go to the Knock Dashboard
- Open the Knock Dashboard
- Click Magic Links
- Select New Magic Link
2. Set the Medium
Choose where you plan to place the link (e.g. website, LinkedIn, event, etc.).
3. Choose the Messaging Flow
You can either:
- Direct to a specific messaging app / scheduling flow
→ The lead clicks and is routed straight to LinkedIn, WhatsApp, or another app.
- Let the lead choose a channel
→ The lead sees a modal with your configured options.
In this case, you can customize:
- Modal title and subtitle
- Displayed rep images and names
- Communication channels available (e.g. Slack, LinkedIn, WhatsApp, calendar)
4. Copy and Use the Link
Once your link is created, copy it and add it to the relevant touchpoint.
You can manage and track each link's performance in the Knock Dashboard or your CRM.

You can also generate Knock links directly from your Slack workspace:

- Click Generate Knock Link
- Select the Medium and the Communication Channels you want to offer
- Copy the link and paste it into the relevant touchpoint
This is a quick way for team members to create links without leaving Slack.
