When you connect a LinkedIn profile to Knock:

Leads can start a LinkedIn chat with your team in one click
Messages are routed automatically to the right rep based on your Knock routing rules
Reps receive and reply to messages directly from Slack, they never need to log into LinkedIn
Replies are sent on behalf of the connected profile, keeping the experience seamless for the lead

Real Example

Let’s say you connect your CEO’s LinkedIn profile:

A lead clicks the LinkedIn chat button on your G2 page or website
They’re taken straight into a chat with your CEO—no need to follow or send a connection request
Based on your routing rules, the relevant sales rep is notified in Slack
That rep responds from Slack, and the lead sees replies coming from the CEO on LinkedIn

How to Set Up LinkedIn Chat in Knock

Follow these steps to activate LinkedIn chat for your team:

Choose a LinkedIn account to connect

This will be the profile leads will message
You must use a profile with LinkedIn Premium and open messaging enabled

Open the Knock Dashboard

Go to the Getting Started section
Scroll to the Apps section

Connect the LinkedIn profile

Click Connect Your Account
To connect a teammate’s account, click Invite Teammate
They’ll receive a Slack message with a one-click link to connect their LinkedIn

Once connected, that profile can be assigned to any Knock touchpoint.
