Knock APIs & Developer Guides
Use Knock APIs to bring Knock AI into your website, product, signup flows, and existing forms.
You can identify logged-in users, carry their identity into Knock experiences, open Knock Scheduling from your own UI, and connect Knock to the tools and flows you already use.
Scheduling
Open Knock Scheduling from your own code
Already collect the buyer's email in your own form or application?
Pass the email to Knock and open the meeting picker whenever you're ready.
Use this for: custom forms, signup flows, product experiences, and custom CTAs.

Add Knock Scheduling inside your product
Let logged-in users book time with your team directly from your product.
Useful for product-led companies that want buyers to discuss pricing, upgrades, enterprise plans, or other high-intent moments without leaving the product.

Identity & Knock links
Identify logged-in users
Tell Knock who a visitor is after they sign up or log in.
Use Knock.identify() to connect the current session to information you already know about the user, such as their email, name, company, or plan.
Carry identity across Knock links
Use Knock.wrapLink() when sending someone to a Knock destination such as a chat, Slack, or meeting link.
Wrapping the link attaches Knock's visitor ID so the destination can stay connected to the same person.
Add Knock Chat to your product
Add Knock Chat to your onboarding flow
Give new users a direct way to talk to your team while they are onboarding.
Identify them after signup, then let them start a Knock conversation from the onboarding experience without asking them to identify themselves again.
Add Knock Chat to your onboarding →
Add a Knock Chat button inside your product
Turn high-intent product moments into conversations.
Add CTAs such as Talk to Sales, Discuss Pricing, or Talk about Enterprise anywhere inside your product and connect the user to Knock.

Before you start
The Knock tag must be installed on any page where you want to use the Knock browser API.
Because the tag loads asynchronously, some integrations also use the knock:ready event to wait until the Knock API is available.
Each guide includes the code required for that specific implementation.
