Knock personal links help every reps connect faster with buyers, customers, partners, and candidates.
Each Slack member automatically gets free links to strengthen external connections while ensuring traceability and CRM updates. Every member receives two links:
- A Personal Meeting Link for instant scheduling
- A Personal Chat Link for LinkedIn conversations
This guide explains how to set them up, share them, and track results in Knock.
What do I need before I start?
- Knock App added to your Slack Workspace
- Knock is connected to your CRM
How do I set up a Personal Meeting Link?
- Open your Slack Organization Workspace
- Click on the Knock App.
- Go to Slack Side Bar β Apps Section
- Right Click, Manage, Browse App and Search for Knock App.
- Search for Knock App β Choose: Open App
If you don't see the Knock App:
- Access the Knock App, Choose Home Page Tab
- Connect your calendar with one click when prompted by Knock.
- Knock automatically generates your
Personal Meeting Link

- Click on the
Meeting Settings
button to update you scheduling configuration: - Meeting name
- Meeting duration
- Availability (working hours)
- Limits:
- Minimum notice before a meeting can be booked
- Buffer time between meetings
- Share your link anywhere so contacts can book with you instantly.
What happens after someone books?
- You get a Slack notification with Knock enrichment about the lead.
- The meeting appears on your connected calendar.
- Booked meetings sync to your CRM if CRM sync is enabled.
- You can reach out to the contact directly on LinkedIn from the meeting invite.
How do I set up a Personal Chat Link?
- Open your Slack Organization Workspace
- Click on the Knock App.
If you don't see the Knock App:
2.1 Go to Slack Side Bar β Apps Section
2.2 Right Click, Manage, Browse App and Search for Knock App.
2.3 Search for Knock App β Choose: Open App
- Access the Knock App, Choose Home Page Tab
- Connect your LinkedIn account.

Personal Chat Link
. - Update your LinkedIn settings to allow inbound DMs:
- Use LinkedIn Premium (to enable InMail if required).
- Enable βAllow others to send you messages.β
- Share your link in LinkedIn posts, email signatures, or as a QR code.
What happens after someone messages you?
- You get a personalΒ Slack notification with the message and Knock enrichment.
- We will not send those message to your monitoring channel.
- All LinkedIn messages appear in Slack, organized by contact.
- You can reply directly from Slack.
- If you reply, Knock automatically syncs the lead and the conversation into your CRM.
This ensures LinkedIn conversations are tracked alongside chat and meeting data for complete visibility.

Do all Slack members get personal links?
Yes. Each member automatically gets both links once their calendar or LinkedIn is connected.
Can I customize the URL of my personal links?
Knock generates the link automatically with default settings based on your origin country, your name and company info. You can change the meeting configuration.
Can I use both personal links together?
Yes. Many reps add both to their email signature: one for booking, one for chat.
What happens if I disconnect my calendar?
The link stops working until you reconnect in Slack. What happens if I disconnect my LinkedIn?
The link will still work but you will not able to get Slack notification, reply from Slack and sync your CRM.
