Boost Connections with Knock Personal Links
Knock personal links help every reps connect faster with buyers, customers, partners, and candidates.
Each Slack member automatically gets free links to strengthen external connections while ensuring traceability and CRM updates. Every member receives two links:
- A Personal Meeting Link for instant scheduling
- A Personal Chat Link for LinkedIn conversations
This guide explains how to set them up, share them, and track results in Knock.
What do I need before I start?
- Knock App added to your Slack Workspace
- Knock is connected to your CRM
Open the Knock App
- Open your Slack Organization Workspace
- Click on the Knock App.
- Go to Slack Side Bar → Apps Section
- Right Click, Manage, Browse App and Search for Knock App.
- Search for Knock App → Choose: Open App
- Access the Knock App, Choose Home Page Tab
If you don't see the Knock App:
Set Up Availability
Availability in Knock AI determines when prospects can book meetings with you and when you appear reachable for chat. Availability settings apply to both your meeting booking link and your chat availability.
How to configure your availability:
- Click Set Availability to open the availability settings.
- Select your timezone.
- Choose the days and hours you are available for meetings and chat.
- Optionally, add multiple time slots per day for greater scheduling flexibility.

Set Up a Personal Meeting Link
- Connect your calendar with one click when prompted by Knock.
- Knock automatically generates your
Personal Meeting Link. - Click on the
Meeting Settingsbutton to update you scheduling configuration: - Personal Meeting name
- Personal Meeting duration
- General meeting limits:
- Minimum notice before a meeting can be booked
- Buffer time between meetings
- Share your link anywhere so contacts can book with you instantly.
What happens after someone books?
- You get a Slack notification with Knock enrichment about the lead.
- The meeting appears on your connected calendar.
- Booked meetings sync to your CRM if CRM sync is enabled.
- You can reach out to the contact directly on LinkedIn from the meeting invite.
Set Up a Personal LinkedIn Chat Link
- Connect your LinkedIn account.
- Knock automatically generates your
Personal Chat Link. - Update your LinkedIn settings to allow inbound DMs:
- Use LinkedIn Premium (to enable InMail if required).
- Enable “Allow others to send you messages.”
- Share your link in LinkedIn posts, email signatures, or as a QR code.
Your Personal Slack Chat Link
- Access the Knock App, Choose Home Page Tab
- Knock AI automatically create your personal Slack chat link
What happens after someone messages you?
- You get a personal Slack notification with the message and Knock enrichment.
- We will not send those message to your monitoring channel.
- All LinkedIn / Slack messages appear in Slack, organized by contact.
- You can reply directly from Slack.
- If you reply, Knock automatically syncs the lead and the conversation into your CRM.
This ensures LinkedIn conversations are tracked alongside chat and meeting data for complete visibility.
