Company Enrichment in Knock

Knock enriches company data in real time so you can qualify and route leads without asking them for firmographic details. When Knock identifies the lead’s company, enrichment runs instantly and is available to your Routing Rules, scheduling, Slack notifications, and CRM sync. Company Enrichment is powered by Knock’s built-in AI.

What is enriched?

Knock adds the following company attributes:

  • Company logo
  • Company domain
  • Company size (number of employees)
  • Headquarters (region, country, state/province)
  • Company status (Public, Private)
  • Industry
  • Funding date
  • Total funding (USD)
  • Annual revenue (estimated)
  • First Seen
  • Last Seen
  • Intent Score
  • Intent Signals

Where do I see this in Knock?

  • Slack notifications: Each new lead message and booked meeting includes enriched company details in your Slack workspace.
  • Knock Dashboard → Accounts table: Columns for enriched fields, searchable and filterable.
  • Routing Rules: Fields are available to routing and scheduling decisions in real time.
  • Sync to CRM: Knock automatically update this data in the accounts custom fields

How can I use this data?

  • Route chats and meetings: In Routing Rules, create conditions based on Company Size, Headquarters Country/Region/State, Industry, Company Status, or Annual Revenue.
  • Build segments: In the Accounts table, create Segments for outreach and sync those segments to your CRM.
  • Give reps context: Reps see enrichment in Slack when a lead messages you or books time.
  • Sync to your CRM: Map Knock fields to your CRM’s Company/Account fields for ongoing reporting and workflows.

Limitations and requirements

  • Scope: Enrichment is included for all leads who connect through Knock.
  • Forms: If you also want Knock to enrich form fillers who didn’t come through a Knock Link, that’s available at additional cost.
  • Coverage: Funding and revenue may not exist for all companies, especially bootstrapped or private entities.

How do I map Company Enrichment to my CRM fields?

Salesforce mapping (Account)

  1. Open the Knock Dashboard.
  2. Go to Settings → Integrations → Salesforce.
  3. Open the Sync Knock data into Salesforce tab.
  4. Under Object, choose Account tab.
  5. In Field Mapping, map Knock fields to your Salesforce fields.

  1. Click Save.
  2. Test with a recent Knock lead. Open the related Account in Salesforce and confirm the mapped fields are populated.

HubSpot mapping (Company)

  1. Open the Knock Dashboard.
  2. Go to Settings → Integrations → HubSpot.
  3. Open the Sync Knock data into HubSpot tab.
  4. Under Object, choose Company.
  5. In Field Mapping, map Knock fields to HubSpot properties.
  6. Click Save.
  7. Verify on a Company record that properties are populated after a new Knock conversation or meeting.

FAQ

Is enrichment real time?

Yes. Once the company is identified, enrichment is available immediately for routing, scheduling, Slack notifications, and CRM sync.

Can I use enrichment to route meetings?

Yes. Create Routing Rules that use Company Size, Headquarters, Industry, or Status to assign reps or round-robin groups.

What happens if the CRM already has values?

Knock only updates empty fields you explicitly map. Knock will not override existing values.

Can Knock enrich web form leads too?

Yes, but enriching form fillers is an add-on and billed separately.
