Create and manage Marketing Cards

Marketing Cards let you create simple, mobile-first experiences that bring your most important content and conversion actions into one shareable link.

Instead of building a new landing page for every campaign, event, piece of content, or target account, you can create a branded card in a few minutes and give visitors direct ways to:

  • Message your team.
  • Book a meeting.
  • Check pricing
  • Visit your website or social channels.
  • Continue to any custom destination.

Every card is trackable, so you can see how people engage with it and which cards generate leads, opportunities, and revenue.

Marketing Cards are especially useful for events, campaigns, swag, social distribution, content promotion, and personalized ABM experiences.

Create a Marketing Card

Go to Cards → All cards and click Create card.

Creating a card takes three steps:

  1. Define the card and its distribution medium.
  2. Select a starting template.
  3. Customize the content, actions, and design.

Step 1: Name your card

Enter an internal name for the card.

The name is only visible to your team, so use something that makes the card easy to identify later.

For example:

  • Red Hat at LEAP 2026
  • RSA booth card
  • Q4 LinkedIn campaign
  • Acme ABM card
  • Customer swag campaign

Select where you will share the card

Choose the Medium that best describes where the card will be distributed.

For example:

  • Website
  • Offline Event
  • Virtual Event
  • Medium
  • Docs

Selecting the correct medium makes it easier to understand and compare card performance later.

You can change the card name and medium after creation.

Click Continue.

Choose a template

Select the design you want to use as the starting point for your card.

Templates give you a ready-made layout based on your existing brand settings. You can customize the content and design in the next step.

Select a template and click Try this template.

Build your card

The card builder lets you configure four areas:

  • Profile
  • Buttons
  • Social media links
  • Style

A live preview is displayed while you build the card so you can see exactly how it will appear to visitors.

Configure the card profile

Open Profile to define the information shown at the top of the card.

You can configure:

Profile image

Upload or select the image displayed at the top of the card, such as your company logo.

Company name

Enter the company or brand name visitors should see.

One-line description or tagline

Add a short headline describing your company, campaign, or specific offer.

Short introduction

Add a brief description giving visitors enough context to understand what you do and why they should take the next step.

Keep this section short. Marketing Cards are designed to give visitors a fast, mobile-first experience rather than recreate a full landing page.

Add buttons

Open Buttons to choose the primary actions available on the card.

You can display up to four buttons.

Available actions can include:

  • Custom links
  • Slack
  • WhatsApp
  • LinkedIn
  • Telegram
  • Book a meeting

Availability depends on the channels and Knock experiences configured in your workspace.

You can also reorder enabled actions to control which CTA visitors see first.

Use Knock actions to create direct relationships

Cards become especially powerful when the CTA does more than redirect visitors to another webpage.

Adding Knock chat or scheduling experiences lets visitors immediately start a conversation or book time with your team.

This means the card can act as both the content experience and the conversion point.

Add social media links

Open Social media links to add links to your company's external profiles.

You can configure links such as:

  • LinkedIn
  • Facebook
  • X
  • Website
  • YouTube
  • G2

Select the social links you want visitors to see and arrange them in the preferred order.

You can display up to four social links on the card.

Customize the design

Open Style to control how your card looks.

Use a saved style

If your workspace already has brand styles configured, you can select one of the existing combinations.

This is the fastest way to keep cards consistent with your brand.

Create a custom style

Select Custom when you want to define your own design.

You can customize:

  • Card background
  • Text
  • Button background
  • Button text

The card preview updates as you make changes.

Create the card

Once you are happy with the content and design, click Finish and create.

Your card is now ready to share.

Because cards are designed for mobile-first distribution, you can use the same experience across QR codes, events, social campaigns, email, websites, content, and other channels.

Use Marketing Cards instead of campaign landing pages

Traditional landing pages often require design, development, forms, tracking setup, and separate mobile optimization.

A Marketing Card is designed for situations where you need a focused experience quickly.

Instead of building a full landing page, you can create one card containing:

  • The essential context.
  • Your most relevant content.
  • Direct messaging.
  • Scheduling.
  • Custom CTAs.
  • Social proof or external resources.

Cards take only a few minutes to create, are optimized for mobile use, and can be reused or duplicated for different campaigns and audiences.

This makes them particularly useful when marketers need to launch many small, targeted experiences rather than one large generic landing page.

Create cards for events

Marketing Cards work particularly well for physical and virtual events.

Create a dedicated card for each event and select the relevant event medium.

You can then distribute the card using QR codes on:

  • Booth materials
  • Swag
  • Speaker presentations
  • Printed cards
  • Posters and signage
  • Event advertisements

Using a dedicated card for each event also makes it easier to measure the pipeline generated from that specific experience.

Create personalized ABM cards

Marketing Cards can also be used to create personalized experiences for individual target accounts.

Instead of sending a prospect to a generic landing page, create a card specifically for their company.

For example:

Knock + ABM

How Acme can turn more existing demand into pipeline.

The card could include:

  • Content selected specifically for that account.
  • Relevant customer stories.
  • A direct messaging CTA.
  • The account owner's scheduling link.
  • Resources related to the account's industry or use case.

You can then share the card through LinkedIn outreach, email, advertising, direct mail, gifting, or other ABM campaigns.

Because each account can have its own card, you can see which target accounts are engaging and which experiences generate conversations and opportunities.

For larger ABM programs, use a consistent naming convention such as:

ABM – ABM

ABM – ServiceNow

ABM – CrowdStrike

This makes personalized cards easy to find and compare in reporting.

Track Marketing Card performance

Knock AI tracks card engagement so you can understand which cards and distribution strategies are generating results.

Go to Cards → All cards to see overall performance across your cards.

The dashboard includes metrics such as:

  • Clicks
  • Leads
  • Opportunities
  • Revenue

You can also review individual cards and compare:

  • Medium
  • Created date
  • Views
  • Leads
  • Opportunities

This lets you quickly understand which cards are generating meaningful engagement rather than only traffic.

Compare card performance

Open Cards → Performance for a deeper comparison.

The performance table lets you compare cards using metrics such as:

  • Views
  • Clicks
  • Conversion
  • Deals

You can use the Medium field to understand how different distribution strategies perform.

For example, you might compare:

  • Offline events
  • Merchandise
  • Website campaigns
  • Virtual events

This lets you answer questions such as:

  • Which event card generated the most engagement?
  • Which swag campaign produced conversations?
  • Which card converted the highest percentage of visitors?
  • Which distribution medium produces the most pipeline?

Understand who is engaging

The performance dashboard also breaks card engagement down by dimensions such as:

  • Device
  • Lead location
  • Funnel stage

This gives you more context about the people interacting with your cards and what happens after they engage.

The objective is not only to measure card views.

It is to understand which cards create relationships and eventually contribute to pipeline and revenue.

Best practices

Keep every card focused on one audience and one objective.

A visitor should immediately understand why the card is relevant and what they should do next.

For most cards:

  • Keep the introduction short.
  • Use two to four high-value CTAs.
  • Put the most important conversion action first.
  • Include direct messaging or scheduling whenever possible.
  • Create separate cards when audiences, campaigns, or distribution channels are materially different.
  • Give cards descriptive internal names so reporting remains easy to understand.
  • Select the correct medium before distributing the card.
  • Create account-specific cards when personalization materially improves the experience.

A Marketing Card should not try to recreate your entire website.

It should give the visitor exactly what they need to understand the message and take the next action.
