Knock AI gives B2B marketing teams a new way to turn demand into pipeline. Instead of capturing leads and hoping sales follows up later, you can act on buyer intent the moment it happens and build direct relationships from anywhere.
In the AI era, buyer momentum disappears quickly and competition for attention is higher than ever. Knock AI helps you build the relationship first, qualify it, and turn qualified relationships into revenue.
Step 1: Define the results you want to achieve
Before you start, define the business outcomes you want to improve. Set targets for:
- New deals per month - Break this down by ICP when relevant, such as enterprise deals and SMB deals.
- Time from lead to opportunity - Define how quickly you want new demand to turn into pipeline.
- SDR/BDR headcount savings - Define how many SDR/ BDR you want Knock AI to reduce through automated qualification, follow-up, routing, and scheduling.
These goals become the baseline for your Knock AI implementation.
Step 2: Complete the initial Knock setup
Connect Knock AI to the systems and data your team already uses. This gives Knock the context it needs to analyze your existing demand and later activate the opportunities you identify.
Complete the initial setup:
- Add Knock tag to your website
- Install the Knock Slack App
- Activate Salesforce / HubSpot / Marketo integration
- Add your team to the Knock dashboard so they can manage settings, configure routing, and view analytics reports.
Once the integrations are complete, Knock generates a recommendation plan for your team to achieve the KPIs you defined.
Step 3: Analyze your existing demand and funnel
After to complete the initial setup, Knock AI analyzes your existing demand, lead generation, customers, and funnel to identify where the biggest pipeline opportunities exist.
Your analysis includes:
- ICP analysis: Identify the ICP groups having the greatest impact on your pipeline by enriching your existing customers with more than 120 signals.
- Leakage analysis: Find where high-intent buyers are dropping from your funnel and what is preventing them from converting.
- Attribution analysis: Understand which channels, sources, and campaigns are bringing the ICP groups you want to reach.
The goal is not simply to generate more leads. It is to understand where existing demand can generate more relationships, opportunities, and deals.
Step 4: Build your opportunity plan
Your Customer Success Manager works with you to prioritize the recommendations and build an activation plan for increasing pipeline from your existing demand with Knock AI.
The goal is to focus first on the recommendations most likely to create qualified pipeline quickly, while building a clear plan for expanding Knock AI across your demand funnel.
These can include:
- Outreach workflows for leaked buyers who showed intent but did not convert.
- Send real-time LinkedIn outreach after a form submission while buyer intent is still active.
- Replace book a demo forms with instant scheduling and outreach
- Activate Meeting Momentum for event meetings to send an outreach message and start a direct conversation as soon as someone books, building the relationship before the event and reducing no-shows.
- Add Knock chat entry points to high-leakage touchpoints such as landing pages, ads, email campaigns, webinars.
- Use ABM cards for swag and event booths to turn offline engagement into direct relationships.
- Use Sales cards at offline events so prospects can immediately start a conversation with the right rep.
Once the plan is approved, you can start configuring each Knock use case and measure its impact against the KPIs you defined.
Step 5: Before you go live
Once your opportunity plan is approved and your use cases are configured, complete a final readiness check before sending real buyers through Knock.
Make sure you have:
- Defined your ICP groups so Knock can identify and prioritize the right audiences.
- Mapped Knock data to your CRM so the relevant contact, company, intent, conversation, and ownership data syncs correctly.
- Connected your reps’ calendars so qualified meeting requests can be routed and scheduled.
- Configured chat, meeting, and form routing so every buyer reaches the right rep, team, or AI experience.
- Invited the relevant team members to the Knock Dashboard so they can manage their workflows and access the information they need.
- Tested your AI Intent Agents in chat to confirm that intent detection, answers, qualification, routing, and human handoff work as expected.
Once this checklist is complete, you are ready to activate your Knock use cases and start measuring their impact against the KPIs you defined.
