Distribute Leads with Round-Robin
Use round-robin to share inbound chats and booked meetings fairly across your team. In Knock, chat round-robin is automatic when you assign multiple reps to a segment, and meeting round-robin is available when you select multiple reps and use the One calendar at a time
option. This guide shows how to configure both.
Set up round-robin for chats
Round-robin for chat happens automatically when a segment assigns more than one rep.
- Open the Knock Dashboard → Routing Rules.
- Create or edit a rule, then add a Segment with your conditions (e.g., Intent type = Buying, Company Size > 200).
- Under
Assign to
, select multiple reps (2+). - Save the rule and attach it to the relevant Knock Link.
Result: Each new chat that matches the segment is routed to the next rep in turn. Slack notifies the assigned rep and posts to your Monitoring channel.
Set up round-robin for booked meetings
Round-robin for meetings is enabled when you select multiple reps and choose One calendar at a time
.
- Open the Knock Dashboard →
Routing Rules
(meeting routing). - Create or edit a rule, add a Segment for meeting qualification.
- Under Assign to, select multiple reps whose calendars should be considered.
- Enable the option
One calendar at a time
. - Save and assign the rule to the relevant Knock Link.
Result: Knock checks availability one rep at a time (rotating across the selected reps). A meeting is booked with the next rep in the rotation whose calendar fits.
