How to Use Zoom with Knock AI Scheduling
By default, Knock AI generates Google Meet links for all scheduled meetings. When you connect your Zoom account, Knock AI automatically generates Zoom links instead - no manual replacements needed. Every meeting you own will have the correct Zoom link in the calendar event, confirmation email, and Slack notification from the moment it's booked.
Before You Start
Zoom integration requires an active Google Calendar connection. If you haven't connected Google Calendar yet, do that first:
- Open the Knock AI app in Slack.
- Follow the steps to connect your Google calendar.
Once Google Calendar is connected, the option to connect Zoom will appear in the Knock AI Slack app.
What Zoom Integration Enables
Once Zoom is connected:
- Every new meeting you own automatically gets a unique Zoom link.
- The Zoom link appears in the calendar event, confirmation email, and Slack notification - no manual steps required.
- Rescheduled meetings get an updated Zoom link everywhere, automatically.
- Cancelled meetings remove the Zoom link and cancel the Zoom meeting.
How to Connect Your Zoom Account
- Open the Knock AI app in Slack.
- Click Connect Zoom.
- You'll be redirected to Zoom to authorize the connection.
- Grant the required permissions.
- You'll see a confirmation: "Zoom connected successfully."
From this point on, all new meetings you own will use Zoom links automatically.
💡 Connecting Zoom does not affect meetings already on your calendar.
What Changes After You Connect
When a meeting is booked, the Zoom link appears in:
- The calendar event
- The confirmation email
- The booking confirmation modal
- Slack and chat notifications
- The Knock AI "Meeting booked" card
Every meeting gets a unique Zoom link. Links are kept in sync across all surfaces.
