Migrate from Qualified to Knock AI
This guide helps you migrate your existing Qualified setup to Knock AI while preserving your routing, qualification, scheduling, CRM integrations, and reporting.
Most customers complete the migration in a few hours.
What changes when moving from Qualified?
Qualified is designed around website chat.
Knock AI is designed around keeping buyer momentum alive throughout the entire buying journey.
Instead of focusing on conversations that begin and end on your website, Knock AI helps you build persistent buyer relationships across every touchpoint.
What's different?
Qualified | Knock AI |
Conversations start on your website. | Buyers can start a conversation from your website, LinkedIn, documentation, emails, events, QR codes, G2, YouTube, and more. |
Buyers chat inside the website widget. | Conversations continue in the buyer's preferred messaging app, including Slack, WhatsApp, LinkedIn, Telegram, and more. |
Website behavior is the primary signal. | Buying intent is automatically detected from website, product, docs and off-site engagement. |
Forms require additional enrichment and follow-up. | Every lead, including form submissions, automatically enriched, qualified, and can trigger AI-powered outreach in real time. |
Outreach is managed separately from chat. | Email, LinkedIn, and messaging outreach can be automated based on buyer stage, intent, or workflow. |
AI follows predefined chatbot flows. | AI Agents adapt naturally to your company's knowledge, tone of voice, and continuously improve as your knowledge evolves. |
You also get personalized ABM cards and scheduling tool for events, webinars and email outbound.
What you'll configure in Knock AI
Instead of configuring website chat experiences, you'll configure:
- AI Agents
- Routing Rules
- Buyer Segments
- Workflow Automation
- Buyer Touchpoints
- CRM Routing
- Meeting Scheduling
Many Qualified Playbooks become unnecessary because Knock AI automatically adapts conversations based on buyer intent, CRM data, company context, and conversation history.
The goal isn't to recreate your Qualified setup. It's to simplify it while creating stronger buyer relationships and keeping buying momentum high throughout the sales cycle.
Before you start
Before starting the migration, review your existing Qualified configuration. You'll use this information to recreate or improve your workflows in Knock AI.
Review in Qualified | How it maps to Knock AI |
Chat Routing | Recreate routing using Knock AI Routing Rules, AI intent, CRM owner, touchpoints, buyer segment, company attributes, and contact data. |
Piper AI | Use Piper as a starting point. Knock AI supports broader AI capabilities, including richer qualification, workflow automation, human handoff, and multi-channel conversations. Your Knock AI onboarding manager will help redesign your Buying Agent instead of recreating Piper one-to-one. |
Knowledge Base | Import documentation into Knock AI Knowledge. |
Calendar Connections | Connect calendars using organization-wide calendar integration or invite reps to connect their calendars in bulk through Slack. |
CRM Integrations | Reconnect Salesforce, HubSpot, and Marketo. Existing CRM records remain unchanged. |
Qualification Questions | Review which questions should remain. Knock AI automatically enriches many company and contact attributes, reducing unnecessary buyer questions. |
Meeting Routing | Recreate round robin, CRM owner, territory, or team-based scheduling. |
Reports | Identify the KPIs and dashboards you want to continue tracking. Knock ai data later allow you to also create customer reports. |

Things you no longer need
Many Qualified configurations exist because website chat requires page-specific logic and decision trees.
With Knock AI, you typically no longer need:
- Complex chatbot decision trees
- Multiple Playbooks for different pages
- Long qualification forms
- Separate enrichment workflows
- Separate outreach automation
- Rep onboarding into a new communication tool
Instead, the Buying Agent adapts automatically using buyer intent, company context, CRM data, conversation history, and AI workflows.
