How to Generate Knock Scheduling Links
Knock Meeting Links allows buyers to directly book meetings from any channel you wish. The buyers are qualified based on real time enrichment and on your rules - ICP, territories
Every link is fully trackable so you can see clicks, meeting booked, and pipeline impact.
Where You Can Use a Knock Link
On your website
- Primary CTAs on Navigation bar, Pricing, Product, Docs/Help, Comparison, Enterprise pages, Footer.
- Sticky chat widget buttons.
- Exit-intent or post-demo pages to rescue drop-offs.
- Blog/resource pages: swap “Book a Demo” for “Talk now”.
Outside your website (social, email, offline)
- LinkedIn: company page button (Contact us → Knock link), Featured section, post comments, InMail.
- YouTube: top-of-description + pinned comment
- X/Twitter, Instagram, TikTok, Facebook: bio link, pinned posts.
- G2 / marketplaces: “Message us” → Knock link.
- Email: rep signatures (
Let’s talk), nurture email campaigns, OOO auto-replies. - PDFs/one-pagers: clickable Talk with Sales + QR for print.
- Events: booth QR / wallet passes (“Scan to Talk now”).

Prerequisites
Before creating a scheduling link, make sure the following setup steps are complete:
Routing rules determine which sales representative receives the meeting.
Create a Knock Meeting Link from the Dashboard
Step 1 - Go to the Knock Dashboard
Go to Knock Dashboard → Scheduling Links → New Meeting Link
Step 2 - Name the Link and Select the Channel
Configure basic attribution settings.
Link Name
- Internal name used for tracking
- Appears in the Slack notification as the Touchpoint when a meeting is booked
Channel
Choose where the link will be used, such as:
- Website
- YouTube
- Event / QR
This helps categorize reporting later.
Click Next to continue.
Step 3 - Configure the Meeting
Define the meeting that buyers will schedule.
- Meeting Name
The meeting title shown in the calendar invitation.
Example: Intro Call with Sales, Product Demo, Enterprise Consultation
- Meeting Type - Used for internal classification and reporting.
Examples: Demo, Discovery Call, Pricing, Onboarding Call, Support
- Meeting Duration - Choose how long the meeting should be. Example options:
- 15 minutes
- 30 minutes
- 45 minutes
- 60 minutes
- Meeting Routing
- Territory
- Company size
- Lead ownership
- Ideal Customer Profile (ICP)
The available booking slots will match the selected duration.
Select a predefined routing rule that determines which sales representative receives the meeting.
Routing rules must be created before generating a scheduling link. Scheduling links only reference existing routing configurations.
Each routing rule defines how Knock assigns meetings based on lead attributes and qualification logic.

Step 4 - Create and Test the Link
Click Create Link.
Knock will generate:
- A shareable scheduling URL
- A QR code for offline placements
Before distributing the link, test it:
- Open it in a private browser window
- Test both desktop and mobile
- Complete a test booking if possible
This confirms that routing and calendar availability work as expected.
